Sewing machine operator — Stanley County

Now hiring: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Stanley County, South Dakota. Requirements: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Day-to-day duties: • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
