Immediate opening: safety marshal (Texas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a safety marshal in Childress County, Texas. You will work at a manufacturing plant. On the job you will handle: • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points You should have: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot Part-time with flexible hours.
