Immediate opening: we are hiring a ceramic tiler in Cullman County, Alabama. Day-to-day duties: • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line Ideal candidate: • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience.
