On a typical shift you will set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing; seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing; erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding; install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights; torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs; bed and point ridge tiles with mortar. Ideal candidate: • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds • 2+ years' hands-on roofing experience • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls Six days a week, one day off.
