Argon arc welder — Rush County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Rush County, Indiana. Day-to-day duties: • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal Requirements: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Rotating shifts.
