Falsework carpenter — Hancock County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Hancock County, Tennessee. On the job you will handle: • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting You should have: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Able to read formwork and structural drawings Full-time with occasional weekends.
