Argon welder — Meriwether County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Meriwether County, Georgia. On a typical shift you will prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Own basic hand tools and PPE 1+ years on the tools preferred.
