Join our team: we are hiring a TIG welder in Howard County, Arkansas. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Your main tasks: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks Rotating shifts. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
