Machine operator (earthworks) — Bergen County

Now hiring: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Bergen County, New Jersey. The job is on a busy civils and groundworks site. The role involves: • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels Ideal candidate: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
