Short order cook — Caroline County

Join our team: we are hiring a short order cook in Caroline County, Maryland. You will be based at a busy restaurant kitchen. Day-to-day duties: • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases You should have: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat Rotating shifts. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
