Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Day-to-day duties: • Score the top of loaves before baking • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
