Great opportunity: we are hiring a banksman in Wasco County, Oregon. On the job you will handle: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists What we are looking for: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $5,250 per project, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
