Gypsum plasterer • DeKalb County, Illinois

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gypsum plasterer in DeKalb County, Illinois. On the job you will handle: • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration You should have: • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • CSCS card or willing to obtain one Part-time with flexible hours.
