Great opportunity: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Newport County, Rhode Island. The job is at a food processing unit. What we are looking for: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing Your main tasks: • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
