Road roller operator — Cedar County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a road roller operator in Cedar County, Nebraska. You will be based on an earthmoving and excavation site. You should have: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance On a typical shift you will load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension. 3+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
