We are recruiting: formwork carpenter (Kansas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Jefferson County, Kansas. The role involves read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
