Now hiring: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in LaSalle County, Illinois. You will work at a shipbuilding yard. The role involves rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) 4+ years on the tools preferred.
