Power float operator — Kent County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a power float operator in Kent County, Texas. On a typical shift you will compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade. Ideal candidate: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works 5+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
