Garment presser — Chatham County

Now hiring: we are hiring a garment presser in Chatham County, Georgia. You will work in a garment export house. On the job you will handle: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
