Join our team: we are hiring an AC mechanic in Adams County, Iowa. The job is at a busy AC installation company. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift outdoor units and work in tight spaces • ITI in refrigeration and air conditioning an advantage On a typical shift you will evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum; cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines; wire the indoor-to-outdoor interconnecting cable and connect the isolator; insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving; check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge; fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
