Great opportunity: we are hiring a moulder in Fufore, Adamawa State. You should have: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection The role involves: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand 5+ years on the tools preferred.
