Sample machinist wanted in Kaltungo

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sample machinist in Kaltungo, Gombe State. Day to day you will change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift. Requirements: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching 5+ years on the tools preferred.
