Join our team: we are hiring a site labourer in Northampton County, Virginia. You will work on a building construction site. Ideal candidate: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage Your main tasks: • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations 4+ years on the tools preferred.
