Rigging foreman — Yellowstone County

Ideal candidate: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear On a typical shift you will coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. $23 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
