Hydraulic press operator — Whitman County

Now hiring: we are hiring a hydraulic press operator in Whitman County, Washington. You will be based in a forging and pressing unit. Ideal candidate: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses You will apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed. 4+ years on the tools preferred. $2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
