Lathe operator — Clearfield County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lathe operator in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania. You will work at an auto-parts workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter Ideal candidate: • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
