Halal butcher — Coffey County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a halal butcher in Coffey County, Kansas. You will be based at a busy retail butcher's shop. Your main tasks: • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Season and marinate meat on request What we are looking for: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers Part-time with flexible hours.
