Immediate opening: formwork carpenter (Virginia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in City of Lexington, Virginia. You will be based at a shopfitting company. Day-to-day duties: • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists Requirements: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
