Protective coatings painter — Mani

Great opportunity: we are hiring a protective coatings painter in Mani, Katsina State. You will be based in a paint and spray workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns • Apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller • Hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer • Sand and fill walls before applying primer Requirements: • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec • Physically fit for standing, bending and reaching all day At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
