Concrete placer — Lynn County

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete placer in Lynn County, Texas. You will work on a road and bridge project. On the job you will handle: • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout Ideal candidate: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
