Vacancy available: elevator repair technician (Scotland)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. You will be based on a high-rise construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces 6+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around £2,450 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
