Crane rigger • Orange County, Texas

Now hiring: we are hiring a crane rigger in Orange County, Texas. You will be based at a power plant. You will read lift plans and method statements before starting; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
