Tile fixer — Marquette County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tile fixer in Marquette County, Wisconsin. You will be based on a new-build housing development. Day to day you will cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter; run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints; lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level; apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away. Requirements: • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $15 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
