Now hiring: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Washington County, Texas. On the job you will handle: • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing $20 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
