Immediate opening: we are hiring a press machine operator in Jackson County, Michigan. Requirements: • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor You will segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
