Day-to-day duties: • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour You should have: • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling Part-time with flexible hours.
