Cnc setter-operator • Los Alamos County, New Mexico

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Los Alamos County, New Mexico. On a typical shift you will set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; load and index turning tools in the turret; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg Six days a week, one day off.
