Overhead (EOT) crane operator — Cumberland County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Cumberland County, Maine. You will work at a shipbuilding yard. Ideal candidate: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Current medical and eyesight certificate The role involves carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
