Powder coating line operator — Nome Census Area

Now hiring: we are hiring a powder coating line operator in Nome Census Area, Alaska. The job is in a busy paint shop. Ideal candidate: • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth Your main tasks: • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations • Mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape Part-time with flexible hours.
