CNC milling operator — Bremer County

Join our team: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Bremer County, Iowa. You will work at an automotive components factory. You should have: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery The role involves load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
