Bricklayer — Hempstead County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bricklayer in Hempstead County, Arkansas. You will work at a residential building site. Day to day you will installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge. Requirements: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Meals and transport allowance provided.
