Blocklayer — Hancock County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a blocklayer in Hancock County, Illinois. On the job you will handle: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently Rotating shifts.
