Press shop operator — Billings County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a press shop operator in Billings County, North Dakota. You will work in a forging and pressing unit. What we are looking for: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred The role involves watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting. 3+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
