Now hiring: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Bullock County, Alabama. The job is on an export house sewing floor. You should have: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently On a typical shift you will inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
