Ideal candidate: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings You will load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet. £3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
