Cold store insulation technician • Black Hawk County, Iowa

Now hiring: we are hiring a cold store insulation technician in Black Hawk County, Iowa. You will work on flat roofs and terraces. You will lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding; prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks. You should have: • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Working-at-height certificate an advantage • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
