PVC profile cutter • Mercer County, New Jersey

Vacancy available: we are hiring a PVC profile cutter in Mercer County, New Jersey. You will be based at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. What we are looking for: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely On a typical shift you will crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame. Full-time, day shift. Pay around $4,600 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
