The role involves: • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds You should have: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
