Vertical milling machine operator — Winnebago County

Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Winnebago County, Illinois. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. Your main tasks: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines Ideal candidate: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $21 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
