Refrigeration installation technician — Tioga County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a refrigeration installation technician in Tioga County, New York. The job is in an HVAC service company. The role involves: • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter What we are looking for: • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns We offer $8,500 per project plus benefits.
